JOB SUMMARY:
Initiates and provides detailed cost analysis of the equipment sale upon shipment, which will include verification of equipment, work tools, trades, costs, and programs associated with the sale. Posts and monitors all cost and claim estimates to the Equipment Management System. Gather information and submit CAT claims and marketing information for equipment sales. Prepare and invoice Sales transactions as well as calculate commissions for assigned salesperson.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Reviews all machines at shipment.
• Reviews Gross Profit Worksheet developed for costs, estimates and attachments.
• Enters CTD (Commercial Transaction DAT) Marketing Data for assigned Sales into Commercial Support System (CSS).
• Determines, files, and codes accounting information for CAT Claims for assigned sales into CSS.
• Records all CAT claims for assigned sales into Empire Claims Database.
• Posts estimates and transactions, such as warranty costs and other miscellaneous adjustments, into Equipment Management System (EMS).
• Prepares and Invoices Sales for assigned salesperson.
• Prepares commissions for assigned salesperson.
• Codes cat credits, performs various reconciliations, and posts sales related journal entries.
• Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide back up for Scoring.
• Provide back up for transferring inventory.
• Provide back up for CAT claiming for other sale types.
• Work within and promote corporate values.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Bookkeeper level accounting skills.
• Thorough knowledge of Empires equipment accounting practices and Equipment Management System (EMS) a must.
• Excellent MS Office skills with emphasis on Excel.
• Appropriate manner, conduct, and grooming adhere to company policy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communications abilities necessary to explain complex information and influence others.
• Ability to maintain consistent attendance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Minimum of 5 years accounting experience.
• Minimum of 1 year in a sales environment.
• Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
